ADDING A MIDDLEWARE SERVER TO CLOUD CONTROL

Hello friends! In today’s post we are going to continue “playing” with the Oracle Cloud Control platform. Let’s see how to add a Middleware server to Cloud Control, it is a simple task if we know and have clear what data we have to add.

It is essential to have our Cloud platform with all components registered. This will increase the control and power of the tool. We have fought with her to show you in detail how to perform different tasks such as: https://www.gpsos.es/2020/03/cloud-control-migracion-contrasenas-y-targets/

Let’s skip the text… and let’s get down to business!!!

Steps to add a middleware server

First, let’s go to our main Cloud control screen -> Destinations -> Middleware and click on “Add”.

The following menu of options will be displayed:

What we want to add is the Weblogic server, therefore, we must click on the first option.

We do not have to fill in all the fields if the server resides in only one node, as in our case.

Tip** To find the port on which weblogic listens, we can go to our source server (where we have the oms) and perform the command.

emctl status oms -details

The output will be similar to :
